2019 PropTech For Property Managers
Dwellant Won Highly Commended PropTech Company

Welcome to our first blog of 2019.

We have returned refreshed, celebrating our 10th anniversary in brand new premises in Victoria, and a healthy pipeline of new prospects for quarter 1.

The flurry of autumn and winter events in the property management sector culminated in Dwellant winning a Highly Commended prize at the national News on the Block property management awards in the category ‘PropTech Company of the Year’. Our submission took the judges through a journey that a leaseholder underwent living in an apartment complex with Dwellant at the heart of all interactions – from lease assignment pre-contract enquiries, through to moving in, paying service charges, reporting a maintenance issue, booking amenities in the building, managing packages, and joining the RMC board.

2019 is set to be a huge year for PropTech, with managing agents, property owners and the resident end-users all seeing the benefits in managing/completing tasks, actions and key communications online. Whilst the cogs of the property management industry would grind to a halt without the talented people we deal with every day, the right PropTech ensures those talented people remain in the industry providing the topnotch service that their customers expect of them. The right PropTech helps to create a community rather than a disparate group of residents sharing the same common parts.

Our advice for 2019 is to investigate what PropTech can do for you. Explore the options, decide what you want to achieve for you and your customers, ask a million and one questions, understand the commitment and GO FOR IT!
